Laura enjoys her passion as a photographer and focuses her efforts to create only the finest images for each project. Her joy is to be able to capture the essence of one's personality creating a unique and special portrait. She combines a blend of traditional style and journalistic expression in her work. Laura takes the time to discuss every detail and gets to know what's important to you prior to the photo session or event.
Holding a combined background of several art fields including film, painting, framing, digital art, web development and fine art; she prides her combined talents in offering clients a "one-stop-shop" experience. She begins with creating the personal images that are very special and unique to each client, and she then produces works of art based on the client's needs. From image to portrait, a keepsake to be cherished is one that is complete. A complete work of art is one that can be enjoyed as it should be, emotionally. An image without a frame, is just a picture. A collection of images without an album, is not yet a story. But once the images are assembled in the complete display that they deserve, one cannot deny the emotional pull found in the completed images.
Client's are able to review their images online or in the studio and Laura will assemble the choices into completed framed portraits, hand-assembled albums, personalized announcement cards, or any other product that a client may request. Laura doesn't just stop at the camera, she makes your images into a complete story with a beautiful elegance that is timeless. Photographs are not just images, but moments that touch the heart.
Laura is a retired Social Worker, serving over 10 years as a health professional and volunteer. Much of her work included Art Therapy and artistic expression. She attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 1991, and received her Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992. Her contributions toward the community and the betterment of others include supporting Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children and The Arbor Day Foundation. She has also supported various ministries and missions that serve to make better lives for all people.
